Community

The MakeTimeFlow community is a forum at community.maketimeflow.com where members ask questions, answer each other, and share what they’re learning about giving their best hours to what matters. Your MakeTimeFlow account is your community account. There is no second password.

Why a forum, and not a chat

The community is asynchronous on purpose. A chat asks you to keep up; a forum lets you write when you have something worth saying and read the replies when you’re ready. Every good answer stays findable, so the next person with the same question finds it waiting instead of asking it again. It’s a place to think, not another stream to watch.

Getting in

In the browser or the desktop app, click Community in the sidebar, just above Help. The forum opens already signed in. The desktop app opens it in your browser, and signs you in there too.

On your phone, or if you arrive at the forum any other way, tap Log In on the forum. It takes you through the MakeTimeFlow sign-in and straight back.

The first time you come in, the forum sets up your account from your MakeTimeFlow name and email. If you already had a forum account under the same email, it’s linked automatically, and your username and posts stay as they were.

Email afriendlyperson@maketimeflow.com with both addresses and we’ll sort it out.

Who can see what

Anyone can read the community, with or without an account. To post, reply or like, you need a MakeTimeFlow account, and a free trial is enough.

Because everything is public today, share the method rather than the private details: how you run your WRAP, not what’s on your list.

If your trial or subscription has ended

You keep your place. You can still come in, read, and post, whatever the state of your plan.

Your name and email

The forum uses the name and email on your MakeTimeFlow account. To change either, change it in MakeTimeFlow; the forum picks it up the next time you come in through Community.

Email from the forum

By default, the forum emails you:

  • when someone replies to you or mentions you while you’re away
  • whenever someone sends you a personal message
  • a summary of popular topics if you haven’t visited in a week. It stops after six months away.

Every email carries an unsubscribe link. To change any of these, go to your picture in the top right of the forum → Preferences → Emails.

Signing out

Signing out of MakeTimeFlow doesn’t sign you out of the forum yet. On a shared computer, sign out of the forum as well: your picture in the top right → Log Out.

Where to post

  • Support — a question, or something that isn’t working the way you expect.
  • News — updates from us. Each one is a thread, so you can reply to it.
  • General — anything else, including ideas you’d like other members to weigh in on.

For a suggestion meant only for us, use Suggest in the MakeTimeFlow sidebar instead.

Where it’s going

This is the first step. What we’re building toward:

  • Everyone in from the start. Every member will have a community account without visiting first, so our updates arrive as posts you can answer. They’ll follow the same email settings as everything else here, unsubscribe link included.
  • Private spaces. If you’re part of a cohort or program, a space only its members can see.
  • Asking from where you are. Ask the community from inside MakeTimeFlow, right where the question comes up, and go from a feature straight to its discussion.
  • Knowing when someone answers, inside MakeTimeFlow.
